

Jhenie is a Pre-Nursing student at the University of Hawai’i Maui College, driven by a deep passion for healthcare and a commitment to serving others. Her interest in the medical field began through her active involvement in the Hawai’i Pre-Health Career Corps and HOSA - Future Health Professionals, where she discovered her passion for leadership, service, and community. She currently serves as the Secretary/Treasurer for the HOSA FHP Alumni & Professional Association Hawai’i (HAPAH).

A proud graduate of H.P. Baldwin High School in Wailuku, Maui. Jhenie got a head start on her academic journey through dual enrollment courses at UH Maui College. These experiences laid a strong foundation for her continued success in higher education. Alongside her studies, Jhenie works as a Nurse Aide at Hale Makua, where she assists residents with daily living activities, monitors their well-being, and works closely with nursing staff to provide compassionate, and high quality care. This hands-on experience has sharpened her clinical skills and strengthened her dedication to patient-centered care.​
